108 Adavus – won competion 2014

Beginners in KNS – like all other Bharatanatyam schools throughout the world – have concentrated in learning ADAVUS – footwork and HASTAS hand gestures.

To make the learning simple we have used a pattern and a music to Shankar Mahadevan’s Breathless.

Many have used this unique music for great choreography but only KNS has used it to fit all 108 adavus in 14 categories in this one piece.  This is an award winning piece. Dancers:  Diya Britto, Anushka Poddar, Maya Britto, Tharindhi Jayatilake.   Join KNS to learn this excellent piece.
