90. Karuthu Contest: Black & White (folk-n-filmy)

Fun Meaningful 2005 – Audition for Fetna

Thamizh Sangam had a contest to decide which school will participate in the FETNA held in Baltimore in 2005.  KNS presented two items:  A Black and White team versus a colored team – Old songs Vs New songs.    On one side dancers wore black and white and on the other the modern newer songs team wore color clothes.  Of course, this was a big hit because TV dance programs were not so popular yet.

KNS was selected for both items but we decided to stage the Bharathiyarin Navarasam.
