Pioneer Themes 1984-1990

Kalairani Natya Saalai (KNS) was inaugurated in December 1985.  The very first popular dance was a combination of three religions:

Hindu (deepangal…Deepavali)

Christian (Kuzhanthai Yesu)

Islam (Ellorum kondaduvom)

It was such a novel idea and a big hit that we performed it ore than 20 times.
